OUR COURSES

Our Courses

Every student is different. Every program is different. That's why every Rise course is different. We custom build your package to meet the exact needs of your program and your student demographic. Choose components from our existing offerings, then supplement them with offerings we develop just for you.

Course Components

Dedicated Classes

Live classes that run on your program's schedule, for your program's students, and no one else. If a goal of your program is to build community among your students and create a learning environment that empowers them to own the space, dedicated classes are a great option.

Mindfulness Training

Rise courses take a two-pronged approach to LSAT prep: digging deeply into LSAT content to build critical reading and reasoning skills, and moving beyond the content with a professionally designed mindfulness curriculum. If a goal of your program is to help students build the mental fortitude that the LSAT, law school, and the practice of law all require, this is a great component for your package.

Digital Curriculum

All Rise courses are run on the LSAT Lab platform because it is the best LSAT LMS, bar none. Every assignment, lesson, explanation, and class is laid out in an interactive digital syllabus, accessed through the student dashboard, and analyzed on the platform to give students and administrators a complete picture of student progress and engagement. No heavy, outdated books in this program. Every feature is accessible on any device and fully self-contained so students can focus on one thing: learning.

Mixed Classes

The classroom experience isn't just for programs that choose to run dedicated classes. New mixed cohorts begin every month. We can match you with a cohort that works for your program's schedule and budget, or your students can self-select and join whichever class works best for them. If a goal of your program is to keep costs down and provide students scheduling flexibility, this is a great option.

Drop-in Classes

This component allows students to join any mixed class on a drop-in basis. Students who need extra help in an area can attend multiple classes on a topic, and students can access advanced and niche topics as soon as they are ready for them. Programs that want to equip students to take ownership of their learning by giving them the freedom to supplement their cohort's syllabus will benefit from this option.

Advanced Classes

A student moving from a 140 to a 160 has different needs than a student moving from a 155 to a 170. That's why we run Advanced classes. Students can join an Advanced cohort start-to-finish or drop in as a supplement to their dedicated or mixed class. Programs that select dedicated classes can choose to subdivide along score lines to support students differently at different phases of their prep.

Analytics

LSAT Lab built the world's best LSAT analytics engine. Every question attempted as part of their Rise program is tracked, tagged, and categorized in unique and revealing ways. Analytics empower students with information. The data shows them their strengths, their weaknesses, and where to focus to move their scores. For students trying to break into the 170s, the nuance and detail in these analytics can be the difference maker.

Tutoring

There's nothing quite like one-on-one time with an instructor. Programs can build in regular check-ins to keep students on track, evaluate progress, diagnose areas for growth, and make critical decisions about when to take the official exam, whether to seek accommodations, whether to cancel a recent score, and whether and when to retake.

Office Hours

One-on-one instructor time isn't reserved for programs that wish to supplement courses with tutoring. Office hours are another great option that gives students access to one-on-one teacher time without the need to schedule individual meetings for every student.

Extended Support

For some students, LSAT prep takes as little as 3 months. For others, it can take 5, 7, or even more. Through our partnership with LSAT Lab, we can offer students extended support and continuity even after their dedicated class or mixed cohort ends. If you want to support your students for the entire arc of their prep and allow them to keep refining for a postponed test or a retake, we'll keep them on the platform and even in the classroom until they're ready to kiss the LSAT goodbye.

Weekly Insights

Partnerships are better when the lines of communication are open. If your package includes dedicated classes, students and program administrators can expect weekly emails to keep everyone on the same page. If your package does not include dedicated classes, students will still receive weekly insights from their work on the platform, and Rise faculty will keep everyone informed of important dates and deadlines in the LSAT sphere.

Administrative Access

Transparency is the hallmark of confidence, and we are so confident in our courses that we give your staff unfettered access to everything behind the curtain. If your organization wants to track student engagement and monitor their progress, we give you the tools to do so effectively and efficiently. But if your plate is full and you'd rather we do all the heavy lifting in that department, we're happy to oblige.

Study Group Services

Good study groups build lasting relationships, help students stay accountable and give them more structure to their study routine. But anyone who's been in a study group knows that they can also feel awkward, aimless, and unorganized, and that's why students frequently bail out. If your organization wants to help students find good study buddies and use their time together effectively, study group support is a great component for your package.

Application Essays

Done right, application essays give students the chance to shine. If your program is seeing students all the way through their applications, there are lots of ways we can support them in their essay-writing, from webinars and workshops to one-on-one drafting and editing support.

1L Exam Preparation

The 1L year makes getting into law school look easy. This is especially true for students who beat the odds and land the dream school with an academic background that has left them unprepared for that level of rigor. If your program seeks to get students not just to law school but through law school, our 1L supports are the way to do it.
